The Bouzouki is a Greek musical instrument of the lute family that was introduced by Greek immigrants fleeing Turkey following the 1919-22 war in Asia Minor. Its popularity grew and it is now an important element of modern Greek music. There are two main types of bouzouki - the Trichordo (3 course or 6 string) and the Tetrachordo (4 course or 8 string).

We offer full repairs and services for Bouzoukis.

Set-up

If frets are worn we offer a stoning and recrowning repair service. Full or light set-up. Pickups – repairs, re-winds and replacement.

Refret

We can refret your bouzouki with a plain unbound fingerboard or a lacquered maple board (includes re-lacquer). We service and repair bound fingerboard or bound fingerboard with enclosed fret-ends (Gibson style). Also dressing, stoning and polishing services.

Headstock repairs

Bouzouki necks and headstocks repaired. Glueing, splinting and spraying as necessary on all string instruments.
